Company History

My name is Ron and I am the principal owner and operator of Capital Tech M.D. (CTMD). I have worked in the technology industry in both the consumer and business sphere since 1992. Having been involved in the development of several high tech companies, I joined Dell as a technician, technical trainer and employee supervisor. While looking for exciting new opportunities and challenges, the creation of CTMD become a natural evolution in my career. I was fortunate to get support from the Y Enterprise center and SEB program, I cannot understate the thanks I owe them for the guidance they have provided in all the tasks related to managing a business and challenges faced by small business owners.
 
I created the company to satisfy the overwhelming demand for my services. After reflecting upon the pleas of family, friends, and neighbours and the referals from these people after helping them; it became clear there was a problem with the way our family and friends are serviced by the technology industry.

The problem: consumers are the secondary concern for the technology service sector. The service providers focus on servicing corporate business clients. The services and products for these corporate clients are very different from those of the consumer, and the costs of supplying these products and services is very high.

The Solution: Capital Tech M.D. specializes in consumer and small business technical support. We are independent, have the skills and products that the home user needs, without the expensive overhead and gimicks. By keeping our overhead to a minimum, and by providing the personal service our friends, family and neighbours have enjoyed for years, we are able to do what we love best; provide friendly, courteous and knowledgeable service for very reasonable prices.
